The administrator and owner of A Generous Journey. I have a wonderful team here in Illinois with plans to expand overall.
Realizing that nursing homes can be costly, and some may like a more private, and actual home setting rather then the “home like” setting, I have decided to supply a demand for residential elderly care in my community. I have worked in the healthcare field as a CNA for over 15 years. During that time, I had experienced many clients that needed more assistance than just care such as living arrangements and so on. However, the clients had little to no family support for various reasons. It was then I began to plan the opening of A Generous Journey. I was able to catch sight of the difficulties they faced from day to day and produced a better solution. Which lead me to wanting to provide residential care and continuance of home care services.
